All of the Tuart forests in W.A. are now in national parks or protected in some other way.
Occasionally small parcels of logs become available in the South West where sand mining is taking place. These are usually from farm land where trees have been left when farm was originally cleared. Before choosing Tuart it would be wise to investigate the availability.

Origin : Found only in the narrow strip of limestone country between the coast and the Darling Range in South West Western Australia.
Colour : Pale yellow to almost white when freshly cut. Does darken to medium yellow after drying.
