Gum veins are common, as are pin holes, generally sold as a standard and better product.

Rare timber.

Can sometimes be difficult to aquire. Generally does not exhibit much gum or pin hole.

Usually a very clean timber, does not carry a lot of gum.

As jarrah is always back sawn, it can show gum as a splash.

Can be difficult to identify if mixed with jarrah.

This species carries large amounts of gum and can be difficult to source in select. Usually sold as standard and better.

Becoming more difficult to obtain and is therefore normally more expensive than the readily available species such as Jarrah.
