Mountain Ash Eucalyptus regnans

As with Alpine Ash, is generally quarter sawn and displays the same gum lines.

This is the world’s largest hardwood, with one tree recorded at 98 m tall, however the largest recorded tree is a softwood, a Californian redwood, it measured 112m in height. Very stable and minimal shrinkage after kiln drying.
